THE annual Grappenhall Walking Day was blessed with glorious sunshine when local girl Rebecca Mitchell was crowned St Wilfrid’s Rose Queen.
Meanwhile Roise Walton Ryder was crowned Rose Bud at the annual event, when hundreds of villagers took part in the annual walk of witness by members of St Wilfrid’s Church in the village, followed by various activities on the school playing fields.
