Week-day parking ban

A WEEK-day parking ban is to be introduced at the top of Eagle Brow, Lymm, following a survey of nearby residents.
Yellow lines will be painted on both sides of the road from its junction with Church Road to its junction with Brookfield Road to solve problems caused by vehicles parking in the road.
The ban will apply Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm.
Coun Sheila Woodyatt said: “We received a lot of complaints from residents so the highways department carried out a survey. We found overwhelming support for yellow lines.
“There have been some incidents caused by parked cars. One lady had to stop suddenly and another car ran into the back of her.
“Various options were considered and the parking ban seemed the most sensible solution.”
