WARRINGTON Wolves fans can show their support for Men’s Health Awareness Week by buying specially-themed t-shirts.
At the Wolves v Hull Kingston Rovers game, NHS Warrington, Warrington Wolves and the Wolves Foundation joined forces to promote the week.
Players warmed up for the match at The Halliwell Jones Stadium in amusing health themed t-shirts, which were specially designed for the occasion.
Fans can now purchase these limited edition t-shirts in the Wolves club shop priced at £12 each or two for £20 – 50 pence from each sale will be donated to St Rocco’s Hospice.
During the event there was also a showcase of local sports clubs in the town, a race for health and displays from the Fusion Elite, the Wolves Foundation Community Dance Team.
Wolves’ player Jon Clarke said: “It’s vital that men of all ages take good care of their health and contact their GP should they feel unwell or notice anything unusual.
“We can all take steps to feel good and stay fit and healthy, making small lifestyle or dietary changes can make a big difference to your health.”
