TWO mystery posts in Stockton Heath are to be removed.
No-one seems to know why the posts were erected at Pilling Gardens, nor who erected them. But they are to be removed, clerk Peter Briggs told the parish council.
A month ago, Coun Celia Jordan reported that a local residents had asked why the two posts had been erected on a grass verge.
They had been there for some time, but no sign had been put on them.
Mr Briggs said he had investigated the matter. No-one knew why the posts were there and they would be removed.
