DOZENS of local bands and artists will take to the stage at a big Warrington town centre music festival on July 17 and 18.
The free event, organised by Golden Square Shopping Centre, is expected to attract hundreds of fans over the two days.
It will be held at the Old Market Place. The final line-up is yet to be confirmed and is expected to include established local acts and new undiscovered talent.
Daytime performances will be between 1pm and 5pm. On Saturday there will be acoustic artists between 6.30pm and 11pm. Other bands will play on Sunday between 5.30pm and 10pm.
Ian Cox, centre marketing manager, said: “The Warrington Music Festival is a great opportunity for local artists to showcase their skills and potential to the people of Warrington.
“This is going to be a great community event, with a wide variety of styles to appeal to all tastes and ages.”
