WARRINGTON residents who have treasured military artefacts or memorabilia are being invited to have them valued.
Cheshire’s Military Museum is hosting an Antiques Roadshow-style valuation day at Chester Castle on Thursday, July 1.
Experts from auctioneers Bonhams will be joined by representatives of the Museum and members of locally-linked regiments to provide information and valuations of military and related items.
Members of the public are being invited to bring along arms and armour, medals, jewellery, paintings and maps and other military artefacts and have them valued at £3 per item, which includes entrance to the museum which tells the story of the soldiers of Cheshire from 1685 to the present day.
