VISITORS flocked to the seventh annual show organised by Birchwood Model Club at Croft Village Hall and helped raise £1,576 for charity.
Money will go towards designated charity, the British Heart Foundation, bringing the club’s overall donation to £8,787.
The show was a huge success attended by scores of adults and children.
Club spokesman Peter Gemmel said: “This year’s donation was a bit more special as it went to the Children’s Heart Appeal and helped to fund much needed equipment for the new Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.”
He thanked everyone who attended for their support.
A wide range of models made by members were on display.
