THE first annual charity golf event to be organised by the Walton Lea Project and Long Lane Garden Centre, Warrington, will take place on September 3.
Staged at Poulton Park Golf Club, Fearnhead, the day will aim to raise funds to assist in the further development of Long Lane Garden Centre.
The charity is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities. Long Lane Garden Centre is a successful employment project, providing supported employment and training for individuals with disabilities. The approach is based upon the principle of improving the self-esteem and status of individuals with disabilities and helps them to play a full part in the local community.
