STAFF from Warrington’s Golden Square shopping centre are set to take part in a charity football match in aid of Help for Heroes.
The sponsored event will be held at Crosfield Recreation Club in Warrington on Sunday May 30 and will see the centre’s management team compete against representatives from the emergency services.
Since being founded in 2007 the charity has raised millions of pounds to support members of the Armed Forces who have been wounded in the service of their country.
Ian Cox, Marketing Manager for Golden Square and one of the participants said, “The shopping centre staff are pleased to be participating in the charity football match.
It is a fantastic way to show our appreciation and contribute to the Help for Heroes cause.”
