Charity golf
A CHARITY golf day is being held at Warrington Golf Club on Wednesday (May 26) in aid of Families United to raise money for the Kidz on the Move programme, which provides activities and events for disabled children and their families. Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 4, 8, 11 and 14 – but the jackpot prize went unclaimed and will be “rolled over” to next week. A £25 consolation prize went to a member of the hospital staff.
Seaside freebie

Chairman elected
COUNCILLOR George Warburton is the new chairman of Penketh Parish Council, taking over from Coun Linda Dirir, who remains a member of the council.
