WARRINGTON’S Old Market Place will be brought to life over the Bank Holiday weekend when it plays host to an International Food and Drink Festival.
Offering a mix of food and drink from all over the world, the market will include a wide variety of producers from countries as diverse as Australia, Iran and Spain.
On offer will be a delicious variety of products from British black pudding and authentic German salamis through to delicate Sicilian biscuits and Welsh cheeses.
The festival will be held over four days: Thursday to Sunday May 27-30, with stalls open all day.
Golden Square Shopping Centre marketing manager Ian Cox said: “We’re delighted to be organising and hosting this festival which will prove a welcome new attraction for visitors from in and around Warrington.
“The market will celebrate the best of food and drink with an international flavour and is sure to prove popular among bank holiday shoppers as they get the chance to try such a wide range of foods and enjoy something a little different.”
