MEMBERS of Warrington Rowing Club often have their sport disrupted by youths throwing missiles at them.
Coun Sonia Boggan told Stockton Heath Parish Council that members of the rowing club on the River Mersey near Kingsway Bridge are often a target.
“Quite a few teenagers live locally and they throw missiles at the rowers on a regular basis from the river banks,” she said.
Police Community Support Officer Peter Crellin said he would report the complaint to officers in the Latchford area.

  1. Why didn’t the councillor visit Stockton Heath Police station and report the problem, instead of letting the problem continue for a longer period whilst reporting it this way?

    I’m glad she isn’t a councillor where I live.
