A GLITTERING night of gourmet food and entertainment has been arranged to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Claire House Children’s Hospice.
The event will take place at Buckley’s – the on-site restaurant at Warrington Collegiate – and will include a gourmet three-course meal prepared by the Collegiate’s catering students. Guests will then be able to enjoy live entertainment and an auction, including some exclusive money-can’t- buy items.
All money raised will go to Claire House Children’s Hospice, which provides 24-hour respite, palliative, and terminal care for children aged 0 – 23 years with life threatening or life limiting conditions and their families from Cheshire, Merseyside, North Wales and the Isle of Man.
The event takes place on May 25.
Joinery students are also showing their support for Claire House by organising a 26 mile sponsored walk to raise funds for the hospice. The walk will see the students setting out from the Collegiate and walking into Liverpool. They will then take the tube to the Wirral before walking to Claire House itself at which point they will take a well earned rest.
