Building unsafe after arson attack

A DISUSED factory building at Warrington has been declared structurally unsafe after a serious fire over the weekend.
The building, off Farrell Street and close to the Mersey, is believed to have been targeted by vandals.
Fire crews pumped water from the river to tackle the blaze with two main jets.
But after the fire had been extinguished, following a two hour operation, the building was left in an unsafe condition.
Earlier, fire crews were called to the Gulliver’s World theme park after a woman suffered a back injury while riding on the wooden roller coaster.
They assisted paramedics to remove the woman from the ride. She was then taken to hospital.
The injury was not caused by any fault on the ride. It is believed the woman jolted her back.
