Raid on betting shop

THREE masked men got away with cash from a Warrington betting shop, police revealed today.
The raid was at the Betfred shop in Reynolds Street, Latchford at 1.15pm on Friday, April 30.
They entered the shop, one armed with a knife and another with an iron bar and threatened the lone member of staff, a man in his 50s.
There were three customers in the shop at the time.
The offenders took cash from the till and then ran off, leaving the staff member and customers badly shaken but unhurt.
All three raiders were masked with balaclava helmets and wearing dark clothing.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the raid, or saw anything suspicious in the area, to come forward.
