Tory slams BA strikers

ELECTION hopeful David Mowat has criticised the British Airways strikers for disrupting family holidays in the run up to Easter.
Mr Mowat, Conservative Prospective Parliamentary candidate for Warrington South, slammed the strikes called by the Unite trade union.
He called on other prospective candidates for the seat to join him in condemning the strike action and encourage BA staff to cross picket lines.
Mr Mowat said the union was “determined to inflict travel misery on families” across Warrington.
“It is very disappointing that they are going ahead with this unnecessary strike.”
He said travel disruption could also be made worse by possible rail strikes leaving a “serious transport meltdown.”
