Firms get chance to improve reputations

BUSINESSES in Warrington are being given a chance to enhance their corporate social reputations.
The Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) and the Volunteer Centre (VC) with support from the borough council (WBC) are seeking opportunities to work with businesses in Warrington on corporate social responsibility initiatives within the local community.
MEPC Birchwood Park and The Birchwood Partnership are also helping to promote the initiative.
Aim of the work will be to enhance the corporate social reputation of participating businesses and also bring real and long lasting benefits to the community in which they operate. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) can take many different forms, one of which is employer supported volunteering.
Firms are being consulted to identify the types of CSR projects they may be interested in supporting.
All responses to the consultation will be treated as confidential and will not be attributed to any respondents without permission.
Responses should be submitted by March 31 to www.surveymonkey.com/s/warringtoncsr
