POLICE are investigating an arson attack on a car sales garage at Warrington.
Fire crews were called to Park View Car Sales, in Padgate Lane, Warrington shortly before 9pm last night.
Petrol had been used to set fire to a car and a caravan and several other cars had been damaged with paint stripper.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hosereel jets to tackle the flames and damage was restricted to the vehicles. There was no damage to buildings.
A Fire Service spokesman said: “This appeared to be a determined attempt to set fire to property.”
