TWO people were taken to hospital at Warrington during the night after their car left the road and crashed into a tree.
The crash was in Kingsway South – and ambulance crews managed to release the pair from the badly damaged vehicle.
But in another incident, on the M62 Manchester-bound carriageway, near Junction 11 at Birchwood, fire crews had to cut a driver free after his car had collided with a crash barrier. He was also taken to hospital.
Both incidents were sigle vehicle crashes.
