FREE dance classes are being held at a Warrington hotel as part of the national “Let’s Dance” weekend tomorrow (Saturday) and Sunday.
A series of Salsa and Jive classes will be held at the Park Royal Hotel, Stretton in the health and fitness spa.
Classes are open to members and non-members and last 40-50 minutes and will be suitable for all levels of dancer from complete beginners to experts.
Created in partnership with Change4Life and the Fitness Industry Association, the “Let’s Dance” campaign was launched by dance group Diversity in January with the aim of increasing the number of people engaging in some form of physical activity.
Leisure club manager Joe Cravagan said: “The Let’s Dance Campaign is a great way to introduce people to the health and fitness benefits of dance as well as highlighting just how much fun it can be.
“We have had a great response so far to people booking the classes and would encourage anyone who would like to give it a go to come along and join us.”
The classes will be from 9am to 6pm.
Class sizes will be restricted so it is advisable to call 01925 730000 first to avoid disappointment.
