A NEW play group is to be launched near Warrington this weekend – for greyhounds.
The Greyhound Playgroup is the brainchild of the Retired Greyhound Trust on Merseyside.
It has arranged 30 spaces for dogs to play together at the Bold Heath Equestrian Centre, Warrington Road, Bold Heath this Saturday, February 27, at their very first playgroup.
Graham Auld, chairman of the Retired Greyhound Trust on Merseyside, said: “Greyhounds are such sociable dogs they love playing together, so we thought we would set up the play group. There are just a few spaces left. If it works well then it could become a regular activity.”
The four-legged fun will run from 5pm to 6pm. To book a space, contact the Merseyside Retired Greyhound Trust on 01925 638858.
