A WARRINGTON-based charity will benefit from a fundraising gig organised by students from the University of Chester, which has a campus in the town.
The event is on February 2 at Telford’s Warehouse in Chester and all money raised will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Jess Yates, from organisers X-perience Events1, said “We are really looking forward to hosting a charity gig night for all to enjoy. It is fantastic that we are donating 100 per cent of our profits and contributing to such a wonderful charity whilst raising awareness at the same time!”
The charity offers support to people with cancer, and their families, and the event is designed to provide information as well as raising money.
Music will be provided by local artists Hippies on the Hill, Sunrise Sunset and Ruth Kealy. There will also be a raffle, with prizes including a signed Stereophonics picture.
Further details are available from Jess on 07920 145023 or email [email protected]
X-perience Events1 is an event management group set up by events management students Jessica Yates, Sarah Kennerly, Emma Anderton, Aimee Potter and Jennifer McGuire.
