A MERSEYSIDE couple are due to appear at Warrington Crown Court on Friday (January 29) for sentencing on charges of illegal money lending, acquiring criminal property and blackmail.
The man, aged 37 and woman, aged 26, pleaded guilty at an early hearing
They were investigated and prosecuted by the North West Trading Standards illegal money lending team, which was set up to combat loan sharks in the region
