FIRE-crews rescued a woman from her car after it collided with a lamp post outside the Cat and Lion pub in Stretton near Warrington.
It is believed the woman was swerving to avoid another vehicle at the traffic lights when the crash happened at 10.30am last Friday morning.
Crews had to cut the roof of the car off to help the woman to safety as she had hurt her back and was unable to get out of the car. She was taken to Warrington Hospital for treatment.
