RESIDENTS in Warrington are being urged to have their say about policing in their area at monthly surgeries in the town.
Police Community Support Officers (PCSO) Victoria Fox and Alex Stacey will be holding regular drop-in surgeries for those living in the area covered by Warrington South Neighbourhood Policing Unit.
The first surgery of the New Year will be held on Tuesday January 26 at Grappenhall Community Centre on Bellhouse Lane between 5pm and 7pm.
Residents in Grappenhall and Thelwall who attend the surgeries can meet their local officers face-to-face and talk about any issues or concerns in their area.
PCSO Fox said: “This is the ideal opportunity for those living in Warrington South to meet their local officers face-to-face and talk to them informally and discuss any issues or concerns they might have.
“We appreciate that some people can find it daunting speaking at community meetings – so surgeries like these are of real benefit as they are informal and allow us to speak to people we otherwise might not hear from.”
The surgeries in Warrington South will continue on the third Tuesday of every month at the same location until the end of June when the location will change. The new location will be announced nearer the time once it is confirmed.
Residents who can’t attend the next surgery but would like to speak to PCSOs Fox or Stacey can call the Warrington South Neighbourhood Policing Team on 0845 458 6372.
