Hall extension
PLANS to build a two storey extension at the rear of Warrington’s Parr Hall, replacing an existing single storey extension, have been given the go-ahead. The scheme also includes refurbishment of public areas, replacement automatic doors and alterations to dressing rooms.
Hospital lottery
WINNING numbers in the weekly lottery run by the League of Friends of Warrington Hospital were 7, 11, 12 and 16 – but the jackpot prize went unclaimed and will be rolled-over to next week. A £25 consolation prize was won by a member of the hospital staff.
Mobile classroom
A MOBILE classroom is to be located at Barrow Hall Primary School, Barrow Hall Lane, Whittle Hall, Warrington. Associated landscaping will be carried out.
10-mile hike
RANGERS are to lead a 10-mile hike along the River Glaze and through surrounding areas on Sunday, January 21. The walk starts at Birchwood Forest Park.
Factory units
EIGHT new units are to be erected on land at on the Winwick Quay Industrial Estate, Warrington. They will be built at Cameron court, Colville Court and Chetham Court.
