Wolves name strong squad

WARRINGTON Wolves’ boss Tony Smith has named a near full strength squad for the pre-season friendly at Leigh on Sunday (Jan 17).
All three new signings, Ryan Atkins, Richie Myler and david Solomona (pictured above) have been named in a very strong Wolves team set to take on Leigh Centurions in the first pre-season friendly.
This is the first chance Tony Smith has had to give the players a run-out ahead of the 2010 season . Andrew Johns will be in attendance on the day as part of his two-weeks with Warrington assisting the coaching staff at the Club.
This will be the first trip Warrington have made to Leigh Sports Village which has under-soil heating ideal in this winter weather. The surrounding footpaths and car parks have now been cleared of snow and ice.
Warrington are currently enjoying the sunshine in Tenerife during a weeks warm weather training.
Leigh players Steve Maden, Dave Alstead, John Duffy, Jamie Durbin and Martyn Ridyard have all come through the Wolves academy system adding an extra excitement to the game if named in the Leigh squad.
