BUSINESS leaders at Warrington have been invited to a borough council budget consultation event at the Town Hall on Thursday, January 7.
Council chiefs will outline the authority’s budget proposals for the next three years and provide an opportunity for business representatives to give their views.
Details of the proposals can be seen on the council’s website, www.warrington.gov.uk/budget2010.
A webcast that sets out the scale of the challenge the council faces is also available on the site.
It will explain how the council is proposing to achieve savings as well as to continue to prioritise areas of investment.
