Job Club provides jobs boost

A WARRINGTON Job Club launched to help people find employment is proving to be a great success.
More than a dozen people have already found new jobs or training opportunities thanks to the Conservative Party Job Club launched by David Mowat.
Participants were presented with their course completion certificates at a ceremony which marked the end of a second series of courses.
The certificate, equivalent to a ILM Mentoring, Coaching, Leadership & Management Diploma 5, was presented to 12 job hunters.
Several were unable to accept their certificates as they had already started employment and did not wish to take the time off !
Participant Lucia Dunbar said: “I needed brushing up on job hunting skills that I had not used for 15 year.I also needed the moral support and encouragement, this is a great initiative.”
David Mowat added: “The club does not get people back into work – they do that themselves. All we can do is facilitate, and add a bit of focus.”
The club will run again, in Stockton Heath, in the New Year with the next course starting on January 16. To join contact Elizabeth on 01925 231267.
