Continental cuisine at the market

A TASTE of France comes to Warrington this weekend when tantalising continental cuisine is in offer at the town’s market.
From December 4 to 6 part of the market will be transformed into a French Christmas Market when a travelling group of French traders set up shop with their home grown products.
They promise a mobile boulangerie offering freshly baked baguettes and croissants, and a saucisson stall with its hot selection of Toulouse and Merguez sausages.
Tartiflette and fresh cooked paella will also be offered, with a vast selection of cheeses, dried sausages, seasonal fruit and vegetables and sweets and crepes.
As well as food there will also be a range of wooden toys and games, Moroccan gifts, cashmere sweaters and a fine range of costume jewellery including a new range from Paris.
Traders from Warrington Market will join in by providing a traditional British Christmas Market in the Bridge Street area.
Entertainment, including cookery demonstrations on Saturday, will be provided during the three days.
