FIRE crews from Warrington wore breathing apparatus to tackle a serious fire at a garden centre during the night.
The blaze was at Willowpool Nurseries, in Burford Lane, Lymm and involved a building within a complex of garden centre buildings, measuring about 50 metres in length.
Fire engines from Stockton Heath, Birchwood and Warrington were involved in the operation and two hosereel jets were used to fight the fire.
Damage is still being evaluated and cause of the outbreak has not been revealed.
