Chemical fire in town centre

A FIRE service hazardous materials unit was mobilised when fire broke out in Warrington town centre.
The blaze was at a building containing chemicals in Wilson Patten Street.
Fire crews from Warrington and Birchwood were involved in the operation and a hydraulic platform from Chester was also sent to the scene.
Firefighters tackled the blaze and use a positive pressure ventilation fan to disperse smoke and fumes. No-one was hurt.
