Hospice launches Christmas shop

WARRINGTON’S St Rocco’s Hospice launches a new venture today (Monday) – a special Christmas shop.
The festive shop, selling everything from decorations and gift ideas, Christmas cards and fancy goods, will be in the Hatter’s Row shopping centre in Horsemarket Street.
It will stay open right through until Christmas Eve.
The shop will also be selling the St Rocco’s 2010 calendar, featuring scenes of Old Warrington painted by local artist Brenda Shaw.
Last year the calendars sold out two weeks before Christmas so shoppers are being advised to go early to buy a copy.
Other attractions at the shop during the festive season will include a visit from Santa and a special surprise guest.
On Friday December 18, Warrington Wolves’ Challenge Cup will be on display at the shop at 12.30pm and shoppers can have their picture taken with club mascot Wolfie and the cup.
