Akme in the driving seat

HOT on the heels of providing the security for the first ever English Half Marathon in Warrington, local security company Akme Securitas landed a contract for a prestigious car rally in Cyprus.
Having expanded to the holiday island earlier this year Akme successfully beat off competition from several Cyprus competitors to land the security contract and
after a very successful seven days they have already been told they will receive future work from the Cyprus Automobile Association.(CAA)
The Troodos Rally is organised by the CAA and supported by the Cyprus Tourism Organisation.
Akme’s Chief Executive Jeff Greenwood, who was in Cyprus to over see the event, said: “This was a major achievement for our company beating off several local competitiors in only our first year in Cyprus.
“They were so pleased with our service they have already promised us future work.”
