Grant aid for church

A SERIES of grants has helped improvement work at Culcheth Methodist Church to continue.
A £400 grant from the Community Chest Fund has enabled the church to refurbish the women’s toilets.
The church is now planning to install a new projector system in the main community hall which should be completed this month. Grants from The Clothworkers Foundation of £4,000 and £500 from the Stronger Together Community Grant fund have gone towards the project.
The church will take part in the Victorian Community Day on Saturday November 28. Stalls will be available in the church hall to local community groups and anyone interested should contact Daphne Eastburn on 01925 765561.
Daphne said: “Every year we hope to improve our facilities and our building for all our user groups. Thank you to the providers of grants and the team of dedicated workers from out property committee.”
