Town prepare to tackle Leigh – again!

WARRINGTON Town will go in search of further cup glory tomorrow, Wednesday, when they travel to Leigh Genesis in the Unibond League Cup, kick off 7.45pm for the third meeting between the local rivals this season.
Town will be hoping to repeat their F.A Cup success over their near rivals and avenge the narrow 3-2 defeat in the league.
Manager Joey Dunn is expected to give a few fringe players and recent new signings a run out and push for a place in the F.A Cup clash with Radcliffe Borough at Cantilever Park this Saturday, kick off 3pm.
He said: “I will be looking at some of the players who have not played a lot and a couple of recent signings to push for a place on Saturday.
“We are on a good run at the moment and obviously want to keep on winning games.”
