Funding will create 350 new jobs

GOVERNMENT funding will help create 350 new jobs for those hardest hit by the recession across Warrington and Cheshire.
In partnership with the two new unitary councils in Cheshire, Warrington Borough Council and other bodies have been successful in gaining a share of the Government’s fund for investment in new jobs for young adults.
Council leader Ian marks said: “The Future Jobs Fund aims to create additional jobs for 18 to 24 year olds who have been out of work for twelve months
“This will reduce unemployment and increase skills amongst one of the groups who have been hardest hit by the recession.”
He said 350 jobs will be created across Warrington and Cheshire in the first six months.
