Show hopes for fine weather

TOMORROW (Sunday) sees the annual Woolston Show staged again at Woolston Park, Warrington – with organisers hoping the weather will give them a break.
Heavy rain has plagued the show in recent years but it has always managed to attract plenty of visitors prepared to defy the weather.
There will be fairground rides, stalls and Morris Dancing, judo demonstrations and a display by Cheshire Police.
Events get under way at 12.30pm and continue to 4.30pm.
The event is organised by the Friends of Woolston Park, Warrington Borough Council, Woolston Horticultural Society and Woolston Parish Council.
