Taxi driver robbed at knife-point

A TAXI-driver at Warrington was robbed of his takings at knife-point in the early hours of the morning.
The 46-year-old cabbie suffered a minor face wound in the attack in Whitley Avenue, Latchford, after picking up three men in Wilderspool Causeway.
His attackers ran off in the direction of Barrymore Avenue after taking the cash.
Police are appealing for witnesses either in Wilderpool Causeway, Whitley Avenue or Barrymore Avenue.
Descriptions are available of two of the attackers.
One was in his late teens or early 20s, was about 5ft 8 inches tall and of medium build. He had short dark hair and spoke with a local accent.
The other was about the same height and build but had blond hair. No description is available of the third attacker.
