The Friends of Walton Hall Music programme for the autumn launches on September 30 at Walton Hall with the Longfordbrown piano duo – prize winners at the 14th International Schubert competition for piano duos – in a recital of music by Schubert, Schmitt, Debussy and Faure.
The season will continue at Walton Golf Club clubhouse with a recital by Katie Stillman (violin) and Simon Lane (piano), on October 28, followed by INTRIPLICATE, comprising Claire Fillhart (flute), Sally Richardson (oboe) and Claire Dunham (piano) on November 25.
Finally, also at the golf club there will be a Christmas recital and buffet with entertainment provided by Royal Northern College of Music students on December 6. All recitals commence at 7.45pm.
