BUS users in Warrington are being invited to have their say on the services at a special Bus Users Surgery.
Customers will be able to put their views to managers at Warrington Interchange on Tuesday September 8.
The event, organised by Bus Users UK, will enable people to meet those who run the services. These will include managers from Warrington Borough Transport, Arriva, Halton Transport and Warrington Borough Council staff.
They will answer questions, listen to views, comments and suggestions about local bus services. The surgery is on the concourse from 10.00am to 3.00pm.
Dr Caroline Cahm, president of Bus Users UK, said: “This is a great opportunity for people who use buses to come into Warrington to shop, to get to work, college, or school and for leisure, to meet the people that provide their local bus service and let them know what they think of it, make suggestions or just ask questions.”

10am to 3pm i.e. when most who pay are at work. Clever move!
I have a question….. why is it so bloody expensive to travel by bus? It is cheaper for me and the family to travel into Warrington by car and pay for the parking than it is by bus. That way I get door to door service. If I travel to the Trafford Centre, it still works out cheaper by car to there than by bus to Warrington!!
There 16a bus service is appalling. I could never understand how they got an award for excellence – certainly wasn’t for reliability or customer service.
If you had to drive 16A’s all day for an eight and a half hour duty, believe me, your attitude towards people would leave a lot to be desired. So think twice before making these comments.
