THE driver of a car involved in a crash in which a local man died has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving.
Magistrates at Warrington have remanded the 22-year-old Spaniard, Louis Havier Montero, until September

18.
In the meantime, police are still seeking witnesses of the crash on the A588 Daresbury Expressway on Friday, August 28.
A 67-year-old man from High Legh died in Warrington Hospital after the crash, which involved the Toyota Yaris he was travelling in and a Vauxhall Astra driven by Mr Montero.
A 22-year-old woman from Spain who was also in the Astra suffered minor injuries.
Police say the crash occurred near the Daresbury Science Park.
The Astra, travelling towards Runcorn, apparently crossed onto the opposite side of the road and collided with the Toyota, which was travelling towards the A56.
Anyone who saw the accident, or believes they saw either vehicle immediately before it occurred, should call Sgt Neil Farnworth on 01244 613813.
