Bank holiday beach party

BARBADOS comes to Warrington tomorrow (Friday) when staff at a local store dress up for a Bank Holiday beach party.
Staff at the Co-op on Cherry Lane, Lymm, are dressing up to raise funds for the RNID.
Shoppers could find themselves “transported” to resorts from Barbados to Blackpool. And shorts, shades, sombreros and sarongs will be the order of the day.
So far the Co-op has already raised £1 million across the UK for RNID, the charity for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Store manager Wayne Hill said: “The August Bank Holiday is always a busy time in stores and we hope this charity event will get the weekend off to a great start for both our customers and staff while helping us towards raising our next £1 million for RNID which carries out such fantastic work in the community.”
