Raiders break into utilities giant offices

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a burglary at the offices of utilities giant United Utilities at Warrington.
The raiders broke into the building in Liverpool Road, Great Sankey around midnight.
They smashed open cash machines inside the building and made off with a substantial amount of money.
It is believed they fled the scene in a black, five-door BMW 5 series car, travelling in the direction of Widnes.
Anyone who saw the vehicle, or anything suspicious in the area around midnight on Saturday, August 22/Sunday August 23 is asked to contact DC Steve Deehan on 0845 458 0000 or call the confidential Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.

  1. Why is it considered criminal for these guys to come along and rob a few quid when this utility company is fleecing us in broad daylight just to exponentially feed their profits?
