Celebrating 10 years serving the community

3

THIS week is the 10th anniversary of warrington-worldwide magazine which followed the launch of the daily online newspaper of the same name.
A bumper issue of the magazine will be out later this week, the biggest ever issue since its launch, which is testimony to the strength of the product during these difficult economic times.
warrington-worldwide is one of five magazines published by Orbit News Ltd. and followed the successful launch of Lymm Life magazine, with other publications now covering the rest of South Warrington with Village Life, Culcheth Life and just down the road with Frodsham Life.

Here are some messages of support from our readers and advertisers.

“Congratulations to warrington worldwide on its anniversary. We can always rely on it to be promoting the best interests of the town and the people who live here.
“It’s not afraid of challenging what it believes to be wrong or lacking in commonsense nor of being controversial to make a point.
“On the other hand it will print ‘good news’ stories which is very refreshing. Long may it continue serving the town.”
Ian Marks
Leader of Warrington Borough Council

“Congratualtions on reaching 10 years. I am delighted to have contributed to warrington-worldwide for many years. Congratualtions to the warrington-worldwide team for a good quality publication, which has retained it quality through all the years.”
Mike Mahoney
Timeline Services and author of the monthly Hypnotes column

“Ten years – a decade- has passed most quickly for warrington worldwide.
What started out as an idea of how people may access information as to what is happening in the town has now developed into a respected part of the main media infrastructure of the town.
Its Forum also allows people to articulate community concerns and perhaps in the next 10 years this can be further developed as a strong communication link between people and organisations in our town.
It is a happy media vehicle always willing to join in and celebrate the many successes we have in Warrington.
Congratulations to warrington worldwide for a happy 10th birthday.”
John Gartside
Freeman of Warrington
Chair of NHS Warrington

“Congratulations to warrington worldwide for 10 years of news and views for this great town.
Easy to access, quick off the mark, readable, reliable and at the forefront of digital technology applied locally, I have enjoyed you for 10 years. Keep on going! “
Steven Broomhead

  1. On behalf of WEST SIDE magazine and Latchford West Community Forum, Happy Birthday and congratulaions to all at Orbit News. The popularity of their magazines and especially the on-line news, is tribute to the excellent work that they do. Long may it continue. The reporting of news without the “sensationalism” is very refreshing.
