THREE board members have been re-appointed to NHS Warrington to continue their work on improving health services for local people.
The two non-executive directors and the audit chairman will carry on their work with other directors to oversee changes at the Primary Care Trust (PCT).
Audit chairman Catherine Vannerem-Martin joined NHS Warrington in June 2005. She has been a tutor in various colleges, has 10 years’ experience as a senior accountant and auditor, and is currently an accountant at St Rocco’s Hospice.
Non-executive director since October 2006, Sandra Brusby, has developed a career encompassing rationalising company structures, economic development and change management. She has been chief executive of Business Link Cheshire and Warrington since Sept 2000.
The other non-executive director Bruce Rigby joined in October 2006. He has over 42 years experience and service in the public and third sectors. He is a full time carer and is chairman of the national mental health charity Making Space.
The re-appointments, which run for four year terms, have been made in accordance with the Commissioner for Public Appointments’ Code of Practice.
The board sets the PCT’s strategy and holds executive directors to account for performance.
Catherine Vannerem-Martin will receive a remuneration of £13,136. The two non-executive directors will each receive remunerations of £7,882.
