Have a say on local policing

RESIDENTS are being invited to have their say on police work at a special meeting being held in Warrington.
Neighbours in the Bewsey area are being urged to attend the next Community Action Meeting at Bewsey Park Pavilion, Troutbeck Avenue, on Wednesday, August 26 at 7pm.
Residents will have the chance to raise any issues or concerns with Police and Police Community Support Officers. The meeting also allows people to help decide the priorities for local officers for the coming weeks.
PCSO Scott Parkinson said: “The meetings are the ideal opportunity for local people to come along and talk to us about any issues or concerns they might have – and any issues that are affecting their quality of life.
“It is important for local people to have a say on the issues local officers are focusing on and meetings such as this give them an opportunity to do just that. Residents can also meet local officers – and put a face to a name.”
Officers will also give feedback on what they have done to target issues raised at previous meetings.
Anyone who cannot attend the meeting but would like to speak to an officer from the area should call 0845 458 6385.
