WARRINGTON Town FC have netted a good result – thanks to groundsman John Barton.
John, who has been working hard alongside fellow groudsman Neil Finn to help get the pitch ready for the start of Town’s Diamond Jubilee season, has donated a set of nets in the club’s colours – blue and yellow.
John is pictured with the new netting, being thanked by club manager Joey Dunn, who is sporting the club’s new kit.
Town start the new league campaign in the Unibond North First Division against Clitheroe on Saturday, August 15, kick off 3pm.

The new nets do look great and a lot more noticeable so maybe the strikers can find the back of the net more this season!
