Keeping the kids busy

FREE activities for young people are being held in Warrington over the summer holidays.
Fit Kidz, a community charity, is inviting youngsters aged five to 17 to join in.
Highlights include basketball with the Cheshire Jets in Bewsey Park,

streetdance, cheerleading and arts and crafts at Dallam Children’s Centre, rugby and football at Whitecross Children’s Centre and junior weights at Fordton Leisure Centre.
There are also fishing competitions, T-shirt design, a volunteers training course, Golden Gates Housing Day and The Big Day Out.
Activities are part of the Positive Futures Warrington initiative, aimed at getting young people involved in activities in their area.
