JOKES such as – “What’s green and goes boing? An alien on a bungee rope!” – are included in a book put together by Warrington schoolchildren.
Year Nine students from Padgate High School have used their comic skills and sense of humour to create the collection of jokes and rhymes.
The project was used to give the boys the chance to develop skills such as creativity, team working, negotiation and respect.
School librarian Wendy Molyneux said: “I am so proud of what this group has accomplished. This project has really given these young people an opportunity to explore their creativity and develop real team working skills.”
The boys from the Joke Crew spent a lot of time on the book “Alien on a Bungee Rope” and it was officially launched at Padgate library, from where copies can be borrowed free of charge.
